Get into the season's spirit with a wreath-making workshop.
There is no prettier way to welcome the holiday season into your home than with a door adorned with a wreath. Peconic Land Trust, the organization renowned for its conservation efforts and commitment to natural landscape, seems to agree. On Dec. 2 at Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton, the group is bringing back its popular wreath-making workshop. Led by Diana Conklin of Everlastings by Diana, the afternoon filled with decorative inspiration, fun ideas and holiday banter culminates in a presentation of impressive winter wreaths engineered by crafty locals. “It’s a very popular event,” says Kathy Kennedy, the trust’s outreach manager. “There are only 20 spots and these sell out really quickly.” While materials and light refreshments are provided, participants are encouraged to bring gloves and clippers. That and, of course, their creative ideas, too. $35 per person, peconiclandtrust.org
