Douglas Elliman’s Tal and Oren Alexander have closed some of the country’s biggest real estate deals, from Miami to New York and now the Hamptons.

How you know them: Douglas Elliman’s Tal and Oren Alexander hold the record for selling the most expensive single-family home in Miami—a vast, modern Biscayne Bay property built by their father, developer Shlomi Alexander, that went for $47 million. Recently, The Wall Street Journal’s list of top brokers ranked them number five in New York, number two in Miami, and number 16 in the US based on their $308 million in sales last year.
Home base: While they partner on deals, Oren spends more time in Miami and Tal in Manhattan. Yet summers are for the East End, and this year they’re spending Hamptons season entertaining clients on their VanDutch 55 speedboat.
Hamptons home: “We rented a house in North Haven,” says Tal. “It’s just over 10,000 square feet, with an indoor basketball court, steam room, and gym, and the backyard is on the water. We’re going to do a lot of entertaining—celebrations, Friday-night Shabbat dinners, and charity events—at the house. The boat seats 20 comfortably and will do 40 knots, so I can take a group to Sunset Beach.”
This three-acre estate at 38 Two Mile Hollow Road in East Hampton is listed by the Alexanders for $32.888 million.
A-Team offerings: 38 Two Mile Hollow Road in East Hampton, listed for $32.888 million. “It’s new construction on three acres,” says Oren. “It’s shingled, 8,000 square feet, with five fireplaces, and the pool house is a beachfront bungalow.” Also available is 315 Rose Hill in Water Mill, listed at $29.9 million and featuring a tennis court, a wine cellar, and eight fireplaces. “That is a 20,000-square-foot house on four acres,” says Oren. “You have a true chef’s kitchen, two double staircases, a huge fitness room, a real home movie theater, and an exquisite Murano glass chandelier.”
Rec time: Tal was a Division I tennis player with a full scholarship and often plays with clients. As for Oren, “I love to start my day at Barry’s Bootcamp,” he says, “and I kitesurf right outside my house and in Miami, Turks and Caicos, Maui, and Mykonos.”
Great escapes: “Gurney’s, Navy Beach, and Sunset Beach and Salt in Shelter Island,” says Tal. Adds Oren, “Duryea’s and Harbor in Montauk. I also like to take my Jeep Wrangler on the sand in Amagansett and enjoy a bonfire with friends.” Douglas Elliman, 485 Madison Ave., NYC, 212-350-8561
