Scott Feldman knows to light a fire under celebrity chefs' careers.
Finding that perfect spot to eat out in the Hamptons requires more than just a menu and a seat at the table. Scott Feldman, longtime contributor to Hamptons and president of Two Twelve Management & Marketing, knows the key to success for chefs to build their restaurant into the must-visit, buzzy destinations that Hamptonites can’t get enough of.
“Fourteen years ago when we started, the goal was to make sure we made an impact with every client and ‘managed’ their brands and careers rather than just transacting in it,” says Feldman. “While a majority of our clients are 20-plus years of friendship, every client, even the newest, are considered family! Michael Symon, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Marc Murphy are now household names and people we consider close friends.”
The feeling is mutual. “I’ve been with Scott Feldman for 13-ish years,” explains celebrity chef and Food Network star Anne Burrell. “He tells you the truth whether you want it or not. We laugh, we cry, we have fun, and we do a lot of great work. We’re family.”
Given his core philosophy of catering to each client individually, Feldman’s high-octane client roster carries quite a clout relative to its size. According to Feldman, “Chefs are the new rock stars! When we started, the big agencies were working with chefs [but] weren’t digging deeper to set a stage for long-term brand development.”
