What was the inspiration behind Relish? For founder Claudine Revere, it was the desire to combine her love of delicious food with entertaining and the sense of completion and accomplishment that’s exclusive to catering.
Why the Hamptons? Many of our clients were heading east for the summer, and we wanted to be able to move with them and strengthen our relationships.
Signature dish? Our chef, Blake Farrar, oversaw two of Jean-Georges [Vongerichten]’s restaurants and brings a totally different dynamic to food. With a lot of Asian influence, his hamachi with ginger umami conserve is one of the most popular hors d’oeuvres. Most importantly, people can’t get enough of the dessert he offers, especially the cheesecake bite with blueberry and mint and also the dark chocolate cupcake with espresso frosting.
