As Thanksgiving nears, Hamptonites know with it comes the highly anticipated East Hampton House and Garden Tour.
The annual event, now approaching it’s 34th year, will kick off with an opening night cocktail party at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton, and carry on with a tour of five beautiful and unique homes on the East End the following day.
The opening day cocktail party will be held on Friday, November 23 at the beautiful and always eventful Maidstone Club in East Hampton Village. Live music, hors d'oeuvres and of course, cocktails, will be the premier start off point for this wonderful weekend event planned by the East Hampton Historical Society.
On Saturday, November 24, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the East Hampton Historical Society’s House and Tour Committee will be showcasing five homes, each with their own distinctive personality to boast for. Whether you prefer the classic architecture of homes dating back to the 17 and 1800s, the cozy feeling of a cabin in the Adirondacks, or even the elegant styles of modern architecture, this year's Home and Garden Tour will bring you to all of these architectural styles and more, all on the East End.
Tickets for the event will be $200 each for those who wish to enjoy the cocktail party fundraiser and the outstanding architecture, while those who just want to see these glorious homes can purchase self-guided tour tickets for $65 in advance and $75 on Saturday, the day of the tour.
Tickets can be purchased online at easthamptonhistory.org, by phone at 631-324-6850, or in person at the Clinton Academy in East Hampton between Friday, November 23, and Saturday, November 24 between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Don’t miss your chance to join this annual tour of architectural ingenuity, all while supporting the East Hampton Historical Society.
