Giorgio Armani teams up with Bugatti for a line of drive-inspired apparel and accessories.
A look from the Giorgio Armani for Bugatti ad campaign featuring the collection’s cashmere sweater ($4,595) and backpack ($4,995).
Stylish men and car enthusiasts alike will have something to celebrate in the newest collaboration between Italian fashion icon Giorgio Armani and the French luxury car maker Bugatti. The clothing and accessories in the limited-edition Giorgio Armani for Bugatti collection are ideal for bridging the gap between the last vestiges of summer and the first nip of fall.
The horseshoe motif and monogram of Bugatti are subtly referenced throughout the line, as is Bugatti’s particular shade of blue, a surprising touch of soft color that offsets the cognac, army green, and navy hues found in the leather goods.
The collection includes a weekender, a handmade calfskin briefcase, belts, wallets, iPad cases, and grooming cases, which are complemented by apparel ready for the first chill, such as coats, blouson jackets in double cashmere, superfine cashmere sweaters, and a leather jacket with a concealed hood. Casual-minded men will enjoy sneakers with a blue lining, as well as hand-flocked denim.
On sale this month, the Giorgio Armani for Bugatti collection stems from a shared respect for luxury and European styles. Says Armani, “It was very natural to come together with Bugatti. We both worship things that are made well, made to last, created out of the best materials. The capsule condenses this encounter in a series of clothes and accessories designed to be worn by men who only look for the best and who live an active and dynamic lifestyle.” Americana Manhasset, 2060 Northern Blvd., 516-627-6001
