Allan Wyse, a private chef whose roster of clients includes Kim Cattrall and Fran Drescher, partnered with entrepreneur Erik Bruun Bindslev on this catering start-up aimed at empowering clients to savor the best organic, local, and seasonal favors from the comfort of home. Inspired by the raw beauty of Long Island and its rich bounty of vegetables, Wyse Organics delivers prepared frozen meals, sides, and soups throughout Long Island and New York City using the popular sous-vide technique, which preserves food’s freshness and nutrition by submerging it bagged in boiling water before plating it.
Organic Avenue founder Denise Mari expanded her vision in 2013 by spreading the gospel of health and wellness through her new hospitality venture, Mari Manor, an all-vegan bed-and-breakfast located in a beautiful old home in the heart of Westhampton Beach.
