The $26 million home, designed by architect Stanford White, was built nearly 100 years ago, but has been recently renovated to incorporate a bevy of modern amenities.
Summer is synonymous with day trips to the Hamptons, but even in fall the East End is drawing the likes of Jay-Z and Beyonce to some of the island’s most sought after real estate.
According to Trulia, the power couple dropped over $26 million on a 12,000-square-foot East Hampton estate. The home boasts seven bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, and a private 1,800-square-foot two bedroom guest house within walking distance of the main home.
This isn’t the couple’s first foray into the Hamptons real estate scene. In August of 2012, Beyonce and Jay-Z rented an 11-acre Bridgehampton mansion with luxury features that included a two-lane bowling alley, a 60-foot heated pool, an on-site spa facility, and performing area for children, at a whopping $400,000 dollars a month.
