Mary Kate Olsen and new beau Olivier Sarkozy (half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy) hit up Sagaponack’s Townline BBQ this past Saturday afternoon. Opting for takeout, the pair ordered the works (barbecue, mac & cheese bites, wedge salad) and then slipped out quietly. Olsen looked chic in a blue trench coat and her signature high bun.
As the New York Post’s Page Six recently reported, the new couple was first sighted together in the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend looking “head over heels” in love. Sarkozy is managing director of the Carlyle Group’s Global Financial Services Group and is currently separated from wife Charlotte Bernard. (Sarkozy split with former girlfriend Stella Schnabel, daughter of Julian, earlier this March.) The 42-year-old Frenchman (who goes by “Oliver” and speaks with an American accent) is 17 years Olsen’s senior. However, Olsen, with her wispy platinum hair and doe eyes, seems like an old soul to us—so this may be a relationship that lasts well beyond Labor Day.
