A Super East End Weekend

Tennis whites abounded a little more than usual this past weekend in Southampton as Andy Roddick and team Lacoste overtook some courts for a day-long event. The tennis star gave his best tips and tricks of the game to eager journalists and lucky VIPs, while his beautiful wife, Brooklyn Decker, chatted with fans on the sidelines. Later, the whole group decamped for dinner at Nobu at the Capri Hotel, where Decker was overheard saying she’d love to check out Broadway hit The Book of Mormon. We hear the duo jetted back to the city to catch the musical the next evening for date night.
A Stupendous Saturday
Super Saturday brought many racks filled with desirable designer wares to Water Mill. Spotted perusing the steals and deals—with a percentage of profits benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund—were Abigail Breslin, Christy Turlington Burns, Donna Karan, Edie Falco, Emma Roberts and boyfriend Chord Overstreet of Glee fame. Also attending was Kim Kardashian’s fiancé NBA star Kris Humphries, who later turned up at AXE Lounge where he texted Kardashian all night long and ignored every woman trying to catch his eye.
Winning on The End
Out in Montauk a surprise boldfacer dropped into town. Charlie Sheen hung out on the main strip and later boasted on Twitter that The Sloppy Tuna was the spot to be. (Ah, the joke possibilities surrounding that one.)
Reed and Delphine Krakoff teamed up with Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld to co-host the fifth annual Baby Buggy summer dinner at the Krakoff’s estate in East Hampton. The charity, which Jessica started, donates equipment, clothing and food to families in need. The dinner bash drew nearly $300,000 for the nonprofit. Seinfeld himself got plenty of hugs from the ladies in attendance, including Gwyneth Paltrow and her mother Blythe Danner. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos and Gayle King were also in attendance.
And over at Russell Simmons’ home, the Art for Life event brought together the likes of Mary J. Blige, LA Reid, Jennifer Esposito and Edward Norton, who caught up with Djimon Hounsou who was there with girlfriend Kimora Lee. All those in attendance gave singer Jennifer Hudson a standing ovation after her rousing performance.
