Pop-Up: Rebecca Minkoff at Solé East

June 27, 2012 | Style & Beauty

Rebecca Minkoff is making her pop-up shop debut at Solé East in Montauk this Saturday, June 30. To the delight of all fashion-forward women in the Hamptons, this 550-square-foot shop, located on the main floor of the resort, will encompass everything from signature woven leather handbags, to classically chic sunglasses—skillfully molded after the stylish Montauk girl.

Minkoff has flourished into an international ready-to-wear fashion designer and has taken the title of the number one independent accessories designer in the United States—not bad for the San Diego native, who got her start hand sewing her hugely successful “I love New York” tee on the floor of her Manhattan apartment.

Minkoff’s 2012 summer collection remains true to her distinct ultra-modern style with traces of mainstream appeal, boasting tribal-inspired handbags and lightweight ikat fabric, featuring bold patterns and bursts of brilliant color.

The shop will also feature seemly summertime cocktail dresses, a sweeping assortment of quintessential Rebecca Minkoff accessories, and on-trend ankle-strap sandals.

“Montauk and the Solé East Resort embody the casual-chic elegance of the Hamptons, complementary to the aesthetic of the Rebecca Minkoff girl,” Minkoff says of the collection, which ranges in price from $150 to $795. In honor of the pop-up, every 50th customer will receive a $100 voucher throughout the summer. 90 Second House Road, Montauk, 668-2105
