Hot Ticket: Laurent Tourondel Talks to Florence Fabricant at Guild Hall

July 30, 2012 | East End Eats

With a chef CV that spans five continents and includes a number of stints at top restaurants around the world, chef and restaurateur Laurent Tourondel has had an impressive career. This Thursday (August 5, 11 AM), Tourondel will bring his culinary expertise to Guild Hall for Stirring the Pot: Conversations with Culinary Celebrities.

New York Times food writer Florence Fabricant will lead the conversation with Tourondel on “The Art of the Burger," a subject the chef-owner of BLT Burger could talk about for hours. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask Tourondel their foodie questions following the discussion. Attendees can also pick up a signed copy of the accomplished chef’s latest book, Fresh from the Market: Seasonal Cooking, during a post-event meet-and-greet.

The Stirring the Pot chef series will continue at Guild Hall this August, with special guest Marcus Samuelsson paying a visit on August 12, and food writer and co-founder of Food52.com Amanda Hesser stopping by on August 19. 158 Main St., East Hampton, 324-4050
