Don Julio's Delight
Concocted by Don Julio himself, this effervescent peach cocktail is straight out of Guadalajara. With tart lime juice, sweet peach purée and a dash of spicy nutmeg, the delightful drink hits all the right notes.
Don Julio’s Delight
1 1/2 ounces Tequila Don Julio Reposado
1/2 ounce prosecco or cava
1 ounce fresh white peach purée
3/4 ounce agave nectar
1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
Pour tequila, peach purée, agave nectar and lime juice into a Boston shaker. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with prosecco or cava and garnish with dash of nutmeg and peach slice.
Hints of honey and lemon make this bright, bubbly cocktail ideal for sipping on the beach, but the tarragon sprig makes it equally apropos for a summer garden party.
1 1/2 ounces Tequila Don Julio Blanco
1/4 ounce Yellow Chartreuse
1/4 ounce sparkling prosecco or cava
1/2 ounce agave nectar
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
Pour tequila, Yellow Chartreuse, agave nectar and fresh lemon juice into a Boston shaker. Shake well and strain into a small highball glass. Top with prosecco or cava and garnish with a fresh tarragon sprig.
