THIS YEAR I decided to celebrate the official start of summer with an action-packed, health-focused, mind-andbody soirée. Little did my mom and my friends know what I was signing them up for.

The afternoon started in the water with paddleboarding and kayaking on Sam’s Creek in Bridgehampton. My favorite yogi and paddleboard enthusiast, Jessica Bellofatto, came along to give us tips. After we fully exhausted our arms and abs, we took to the sand for a barefoot beach run and some sun salutations. When it was time for refueling, we still had enough daylight left to gather around a beachside bonfire for a meal of local ingredients. I wish every day could be this long.
