I travel all over the world for work, but when I arrive in the Hamptons on the weekend, the beauty of the towns and beaches never ceases to amaze me. I have a very special place in my heart for Amagansett—it is my Hampton. I met my husband, got married and bought a house, all in Amagansett; some of my best family memories are from this perfect little seaside town. One of the reasons Amagansett stands apart as a shopping destination is that it has a laid-back style that permeates everything from the relaxed restaurants to the great stores—the legendary Farmers Market is undoubtedly fabulous, as are many others. The town is small, eclectic and packed with inspired finds like these.

Amagansett Flowers by Beth
This lovely shop owned by Beth Eckhardt, “the original girl from Amagansett,” has the best flowers in the Hamptons, bar none. This is one of my first stops when I arrive for the weekend because I love our home to be filled with fresh blossoms. FROM LEFT: I love to collect vintage and unusual flatware. I have brass, teak, silver, and I think these Sabre Flatware horn handles would finish off my collection. I would pair them with some colorful printed napkins for an effortless setting; Jarlath Mellett also has the most complete offering of contemporary china. The store carries lovely Dibbern fine china. I have a little of everything and often mix and match my settings; I love setting a really dramatic tablescape on our outdoor table. I am attracted to the juxtaposition of the outdoors and beautiful details. These vintage napkin rings are perfect detail to finish any place setting.
