
On November 9, 2012, the Parrish Art Museum kicked off a three-day opening celebration in honor of its new home in Water Mill at 279 Montauk Highway. Parrish deputy director Anke Jackson and museum director Terrie Sultan oversaw the fête, which included a VIP tour, press conference, light show, music, telescope viewing, cocktail party with more than 700 attendees, two ribbon pullings, and a family fun day.
