Stefani Greenfield and Desiree Gruber

Does anyone else feel a Mediterranean breeze when encountering the ethereal accessories from Theodora & Callum? The new line, designed by Stefani Greenfield and launched with business partner Desiree Gruber, is available starting this weekend in a shop-in-shop within the Stuart Weitzman boutique in East Hampton. It includes exotic print scarves, hippie bangles and art jewelry, as well as espadrille wedges in bright patterns and beachy bags and clutches manufactured by Stuart Weitzman.

“It was a year ago on the dot,” says Gruber, clad in a black Chanel suit, recalling the advent of Theodora & Callum. “Stefani and I are friends, and when we put together the names of my son, Callum, and her daughter, Theodora, it just happened.” (A picture of Callum on Gruber’s desk shows the nearly three-yearold in a Run-DMC shirt.)

“We’re obsessed with scarves, wearable art jewelry,” interjects Greenfield, wearing a pair of gray Theory sweatpants and a vintage navy boy blazer and clutching a venti bold from Starbucks. “We wanted this collection to be inspired by places we’ve dreamed about, places we wanted to go. Our prints might be drawn from pictures I took while I was in Italy, or a fabulous tablecloth.”
