Georgica Restaurant and Lounge celebrates its fourth season on the East End with new seafood offerings to complement its already sublime menu and high-energy atmosphere that have attracted the likes of Russell Simmons, Rachel Zoe, and Jon Bon Jovi. House favorites such as its signature watermelon and heirloom tomato salad return to executive chef Seth Levine’s eclectic menu, but a fresh mahi mahi entrée and a new raw bar join the ranks. The mahi mahi is lightly blackened and served with pineapple-mango salsa and twice-fried plantains, explains owner Antonio Fuccio. “This adds a Caribbean-inspired flavor to our already well-rounded menu.”
The extensive raw bar comprises shrimp cocktail, chilled lobster cocktail, littleneck clams, and blue point oysters, to be paired with cocktail sauce, rémoulade, mignonette sauce, or fresh lemon; patrons who prefer variety can request a deluxe seafood tower with six pieces of each and half a lobster, or a grande seafood tower with a dozen pieces of each and a full lobster. The new raw bar is almost entirely locally sourced from purveyors who deliver daily. “The East End is known for its fresh seafood, and our new raw bar selections highlight that,” says Fuccio. “We only serve the freshest and, therefore, best-tasting seafood in town.” 108 Wainscott Stone Road, Wainscott, 537-6255
