The Hampton Ballet Theatre School is collaborating with the Hampton Chamber Orchestra and a celebrity narrator to perform the ballet Peter and the Wolf. Students ranging from 4- to 18-years-old will perform in the ballet and the 25-piece orchestra will include a group of Hamptons-based musicians. The Leila Heller Gallery will showcase recent works by five contemporary artists at Art Southampton, all through July 30. Celebrate the 20th Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival with a free outdoor concert by the vibrant string quartet Brooklyn Rider. The event will also include performances from six to 14 musicians playing music by Vivaldi, Bach, Schnittke, and Ligeti, among others, and the world premiere of a work by Paul Brantley. This year’s festival features 11 events programmed by BCMF founder and artistic director Marya Martin.
