Art Rules in the Hamptons

July 01, 2010

As I gear up for ArtHamptons next weekend, I thought I’d call out a few more notable spots for seeing art on the East End.

Pierre’s restaurant in Bridgehampton is currently featuring the art of local artist Bob Lelle. Pierre always has great local artwork on display—next time you see him, ask him about his ongoing support of local artisans.

The Fireplace Project in East Hampton is a contemporary art gallery in the Springs Historic District. It always has great exhibitions, and is right across the street from the Pollack-Krasner House.

Another great space is Silas Marder Gallery in Bridgehampton—it features art and cinema events throughout the summer.

Have fun!

Haley Binn, who spends the summers in Southampton, explores everything on the East End and reports it all in “Below the Brim,” her weekly column in Hamptons magazine. Follow her on Twitter at twitter.com/haleybinn.
